It’s just been announced that former 5x WWE World Champion, CM Punk, will be appearing on NXT, this upcoming Tuesday, September 17th. The show has been especially interesting lately, with the TNA crossover happening.

Could that involve Punk? He did work there before. Plus, there have been rumors one of the reasons WWE is working with TNA is AEW.

They want to show they can do a “Forbidden Door” type of thing with TNA, better than AEW does with NJPW. Again, just rumors, but they make sense to me.

Punk also held the ROH & ECW World Titles, but never the TNA World Title. Maybe that could be part of it?

It’s working well without anyone close to a Punk (former AEW World Champ) type involved. Last week, NXT had their best demo number in over a year.

And they were up against THE PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE! That was watched by over 55 million viewers, pretty incredible for NXT.

While TNA just held their fourth straight PLE sell-out, with Victory Road 2024.
