Disney Star Wars “The Acolyte” Sucks! And Most Everyone Agrees.
Episode three of The Acolyte premiered on Disney+ last night, and it’s been with almost universal hate! First off, Forbes called it “One Of The Most Disappointing ‘Star Wars’ Episodes Ever Made”.
That’s being very kind IMO, I’ve seen many fans call it the absolute worst, the death of Star Wars, etc. You can read a ton of fans replies about this edition of The Acolyte below.
But ICYMI, this series was created by Leslye Headland. She’s known for a 2015 film titled “Sleeping with Other People”, which is pretty ironic.
But she’s way more known for her previous job, personal assistant to Harvey Weinstein!
She’s made it known there are writers on the show that have NEVER seen Star Wars. Just like the actor Charlie Barnett, who plays Yord.
He defended the series by pointing out how Anakin blew up the Death Star, no I didn’t make that up. But he was shown shirtless and has abs so it’s all good for many fans LOLWTF.
Back to the episode, which I almost fell asleep watching multiple times.
I will likely review it and add the audio to this page tho. For now, I’m sharing fans replies from Star Wars Facebook.
These aren’t “haters”, they’re fans who simply don’t like this show. They all have very valid reasons and it’s not about anti-LGBQT or any of that.
Sometimes things are just bad.
I noticed many of these honest fans have been met with resistance! Take a look into that because I (and others) are pretty sure Disney has bots defending this garbage.
