Fightful Select WRONG Again! Tony Khan Denies Their “Exclusive” BS
It’s been a few weeks since I noticed the Fightful crew got something wrong. To be fair, I have them blocked everywhere and don’t pay attention after Sean Sapp doxed myself and family members.
The last time was funny as hell, Will Ospreay got pissed off after reading a headline from a Ringside News article. He tagged his pal Sapp for help, not realizing the headline was coming from a Fightful Select report, that was wrong.
So the latest is that he recently reported:
“AEW was planning a large-scale event is slated for 2025, potentially a stadium show rivaling AEW’s biggest events, in the Dallas/Arlington area.
Local officials might announce this exciting news by the end of the year, pending final arrangements. At this time, sources from AEW have not revealed what the event could be.”
BUT….AEW President Tony Khan spoke about this with ComicBook.com:
“It’s not something that we would be looking to do anytime here in the immediate future. But it is an exciting idea and something I think that we absolutely could do and something that would be very interesting.”
Then Tony on the Fightful “Report”-
“I can’t comment on the accuracy of such reports or the immediate future, but we’ve had great shows over the years in Texas. “We’ve never done an AEW pay-per-view in Texas. We’ve done a lot of Ring of Honor pay-per-views there.”

The first big problem is right there. But I guess that’s not enough for a breakdown….so Tony “couldn’t comment on the accuracy”, luckily I can!
It’s wrong, he said it’s not happening in the near future, so that’s out. Then he hysterically pushed the convo over to Ring of Honor!
If you’re reading this in 2024, yes ROH is still a thing. Sadly now, It’s a place to stockpile talent on Honor Club.
