Jose Canseco Announces Home Run Derby for Non-MLB Players
Jose Canseco, the 1998 American League Most Valuable Player, is putting on a Home Rub Derby! This is for anyone “outside of the MLB”, and likely no drug testing!
*Canseco admitted using performance-enhancing drugs during his career in his book, Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant 'Roids, Smash Hits & How Baseball Got Big.
The two-time World Series Champion was the first player in MLB history to hit 40 home runs and steal 40 bases in one season.
The Derby is going to take place live on PPV, October 5th at LoanDepot Park in Miami, Florida. Ticket info will be announced soon.

Jose Canseco, born on July 2, 1964, in Havana, Cuba, is a former Major League Baseball player renowned for his power-hitting as an outfielder and designated hitter. He debuted with the Oakland Athletics in 1985 and played for several teams, including the Texas Rangers, Chicago White Sox, and Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Canseco was a two-time All-Star, won the American League MVP in 1988, and was part of the 1989 World Series champion Athletics.
