Red Sox Jarren Duran’s Jersey Sales Skyrocketed After Using Gay Slur

Boston Red Sox outfielder, Jarren Duran, was caught using an anti-gay slur at a heckling fan during Sundays game. He was suspended for two games and has since apologized.

Today, his jersey sales have become #1 at the online MLB shop. Ahead of different versions of Shohei Ohtani jerseys which, incredibly, make up 5 of the next 8 spots.

This year’s MLB All Star Game MVP, the 27-year-old Duran, quickly became a fan-favorite in Boston. 2024 is his first full season with the club, after 332 ABs in 102 games last year.

The 27-year-old is currently batting .291 with 14 HRs, 58 RBI, and 29 steals.
