Sony & Marvel’s “Kraven the Hunter” Trailer is Out…Who is This For?!

“Kraven the Hunter” is an upcoming superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character. He first appeared in “The Amazing Spider-Man” #15 comic, as an adversary to Peter Parker/Spider-Man.

The first trailer was just released, which you can find below. “Kraven the Hunter” is scheduled to hit theaters, December 13, 2024.

But similar to “Madame Web”, “Morbius” and the “Venom” films, this doesn’t have Spider-Man?! Why is Sony doing this? Who is it for?!

Creating a Spider-Man Universe without Spider-Man is CLEARLY not working. Maybe they have to make these movies to keep the rights? No idea, but that would make some sense.

I’m a huge nerd, so I’m open to new characters, or ones I don’t know. But this character shouldn’t have a solo movie.

Venom kind of works because Tom Hardy totally gets it. These other movies play it way too straight, when fans are usually laughing. Hardy seems to understand that and singlehandedly saved those movies and made a franchise.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson is a good actor, maybe great. I haven’t seen a ton of his stuff, but I have no interest in this. “Madame Web” was more interesting to me, even though it was terrible, it didn’t look like the same old shit.

The film was directed by J. C. Chandor from a screenplay by Richard Wenk and the writing team of Art Marcum and Matt Holloway. It stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the title role alongside Ariana DeBose, Fred Hechinger, Alessandro Nivola, Christopher Abbott, and Russell Crowe.

D23, or Disney D23, is the official fan club for The Walt Disney Company. It was founded in 2009 and is known for its biennial D23 Expo, a multi-day event that showcases Disney's innovation and storytelling.

The name D23 comes from the year Walt Disney founded the company, 1923, with "D" standing for Disney and "23" for the year.
