TNA Stars Joe Hendry & Kazarian Entered WWE NXT Battle Royal!
WWE NXT Television held a #1 contenders Battle Royal tonight, June 18th. There were rumors about TNA Wrestling Stars possibly appearing. Not only did it happen, but it was really cool!
TNA legend Frankie Kazarian led the competitors out for the match. Then Joe Hendry came out to his theme, with the NXT crowd singing along. He got promo time, then was taken out when they teamed up on him.
Hendry got thrown over the top by Kazarian, which will likely lead to a feud between them on TNA. The WWE-TNA relationship continues and most fans are loving it. Even as a big fan of Joe, I was shocked at how over he was.
Things have turned around very quickly for TNA and it’s awesome to see. Working with WWE, Jordynne at the Rumble and NXT, then Tatum Paxley at Against All Odds and now tonight.
Against All Odds was one of the best TNA shows in a long time. Viewership last week was the highest it’s been since January. Ownership just hired a new Chief Revenue Officer to look over the promotion….good stuff.
