TNA & WWE NXT Wrestling Star Joe Hendry Wins Tag Team Title

Joe Hendry is one of the most over wrestlers in the world right now. The only major complaints I’ve seen about him, and to be honest, I've thought the same thing, is that he’s not winning titles. That could change when TNA “Bound for Glory” 2024 comes around.

In the meantime, along with Joey Jet Avalon, he just won the Midwest All-Star Tag Team Championship. The event, “Say His Name, And He Appears”, was held on September 15, 2024.

I mentioned Joe being crazy over. Hopefully fans realize he did most of it ON HIS OWN. The man is a marketing machine. Just check out his Instagram. He’s always going.

And it's not just for the major companies that he'll do a special entrance theme. If you scroll back on his Instagram page or simply search it on YouTube, you can find parody entrance themes that he's done for the smallest of federations when he makes an appearance.

It also helps that he makes extremely funny songs. It’s the kind of entertainment that I believe is missing from many pro wrestling companies. He hasn't had to work very hard on a new entrance theme, “Say His Name" has gotten absolutely huge.

Up next for Midwest All-Star Wrestling is Sharkey Slam 2, which will take place Friday, September 27th, at the Bloomington Event Center in Bloomington, Minnesota.

The event will honor the “Trainer of Champions” Eddie Sharkey. It also features a special meet and greet with ECW Original/Legend Perry Saturn.

Tickets are available at TicketTailor.
