First Trailer for “Ted” Prequel Series starring Seth MacFarlane

Well, this is surprisingly awesome! After two brilliant comedy films, “Ted” is returning for a prequel series on Peacock. Creator Seth MacFarlane is back to voice the lovable, foul-mouthed, living, teddy bear.

“Ted” or “ted”, the lowercase name it’s going by, streams January 11, 2024 on Peacock. It doesn’t seem like Mark Wahlberg can be around since it’s a prequel series. But also, who knows? A young version? Ok, I don’t think that would fit with the movies. Whatever, enjoy the trailer for now.

In this comedic prequel event series to the Ted films, it's 1993, and Ted the bear’s moment of fame has passed.

He’s now living back home in Framingham, Massachusetts with his best friend, 16-year-old John Bennett, along with John’s parents, Matty and Susan and cousin Blaire.

Ted may be a lousy influence on John, but at the end of the day, he’s a loyal pal who’s always willing to go out on a limb for friendship.

Seth MacFarlane is writer and director of the comedy series. Paul Corrigan and Brad Walsh are also writers. “ted” also stars Alanna Ubach, Scott Grimes, Max Burkholder and Giorgia Whigham.
