WWE Legend & Hollywood Star Dave Bautista Wants to Work w/ CM Punk

WWE Hall of Famer and “Guardian of the Galaxy”, Dave Bautista, recently spoke about the acting prowess of Phil Brooks, aka CM Punk. The “Knock at the Cabin” star, in which Bautista was amazing, mentioned wanting to collaborate with Punk in a film, and that would be awesome!

Bautista said about Punk’s acting:

“Oh, you know who I think was really overlooked as an actor, I don’t know if he hasn’t pursued it as much as he’d like to because he’s still heavily pursuing professional wrestling, but is CM Punk, Phil Brooks. His potential in acting is pretty unlimited.

So, I really wanna see more from him in acting.

And I’d really love to work with him, cause I think he has a passion for acting. But I think still his heart is in professional wrestling. Until he’s able to let that go a little bit, he’ll never be able to fully envelop himself in acting.

But I think Phil Brooks is, he’s a great actor.”

Obviously Dave knows way more than me about acting, but I agree. Phil/Punk did a fantastic job starring in the film, “Girl on the Third Floor”.

I watched it out of boredom one day, ONLY because Punk was in it. I was absolutely shocked at how good he was. Based on the ratings numbers, I'm not alone in that.

“Girl on the Third Floor” sits at 82% on Rotten Tomatoes.
