WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes to Have Major TNA Wrestling Feud?!

WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes to Have TNA Wrestling Feud?!

WWE Univeral Champion Cody Rhodes has worked for a bunch of promotions, one of them being TNA Wrestling. It wasn’t anything special for him, only spending a few months there in 2016-17. He did lose his final match to Moose, which could be interesting.

Because there is a rumor he will be returning TNA Wrestling for a major feud. I don’t believe Josh Alexander will be around much longer, after asking for his release a while back.

A great option would be Joe Hendry, but that would be face vs face. So I’m thinking they go back to Cody vs. Moose, which I’d be cool with. Moose is THE guy at TNA and actually wants to work there, unlike others.

So according to Navtreaks on X:

Cody Rhodes is set to make an appearance in upcoming tapings for TNA. This is due to the recent WWE/TNA Collaboration, Cody’s also expected to have a major feud in the company.

TNA Wrestling, officially known as Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, was founded in 2002 by Jeff Jarrett and Jerry Jarrett. The promotion aimed to provide an alternative to WWE, focusing on a more athletic and fast-paced wrestling style. TNA initially distinguished itself by adopting a six-sided ring, which contributed to its unique visual appeal and wrestling dynamics.

The promotion gained traction with its weekly television show, "Impact Wrestling," which premiered in 2004. TNA showcased a mix of established wrestling veterans and emerging talent, providing a platform for stars such as AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, and Kurt Angle. The organization was known for its commitment to high-quality wrestling matches, innovative storylines, and tournament-style competitions, like the X Division and King of the Mountain matches.

Over the years, TNA faced various challenges, including financial difficulties and changes in leadership. Despite these obstacles, the company made efforts to expand its reach, including partnerships with international promotions and experimenting with different broadcasting platforms.

TNA underwent several rebranding efforts, including a brief period as "Impact Wrestling" and later "GFW" (Global Force Wrestling) under Jeff Jarrett's leadership. While the organization has seen fluctuating popularity, it remains a significant part of wrestling history for its contributions to the industry and its role in shaping the careers of many professional wrestlers.

As of 2024, TNA Wrestling continues to operate, with a commitment to evolving its product and maintaining a dedicated fan base. Its impact on the wrestling landscape persists, highlighting the importance of diverse options for wrestling enthusiasts.
