AEW (All Elite Wrestling) Fans Leave Arena in Droves Before Rampage

I posted an article yesterday about the ongoing failures of All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Viewership, ratings, and attendance have been way down, while founder and co-owner, Tony Khan, isn’t even attempting to change anything. I said founder and co-owner, but I left out the other titles he insists on having, which are president, chief executive officer, general manager, executive producer, and head of creative of the promotion.

Their latest episode of AEW Rampage, on August 30th, brought in a pathetic 218K viewers. I believe and wrote about the fact that Rampage hurts AEW overall.

The first few months after Rampage debuted, the show averaged around 650k viewers, going as high as 1.1 million.

The way AEW runs their shows is that they will have their live Collision show, and immediately after, start taping the next episode of Rampage.

After a really bad attendance picture yesterday, now there’s video of many fans leaving after Collision, absolutely refusing to stay for the taped Rampage.

I went to a few “AEW Dark" shows over the last few years, when they were doing those tapings. Not sure what the schedule is now, but I read some fans saying 5 hours is simply too long to watch wrestling….or at least AEW Wrestling.
