Could Rampage Be Hurting AEW? AD All Elite Wrestling Exclusive

Simple question I pose to you all, is AEW Rampage hurting AEW? I believe it might it be, but I’m more of a casual fan these days. I watch Dynamite every week, and have attended a few shows recently.

With that said, I criticize the shit out of it!

Why AEW and not WWE or TNA? That’s a great question.

Because AEW is still at the point, where they can change and grow. WWE is WWE and doing great, that’s not changing.

I have a weekly TNA podcast, so I criticize them more than anyone. Plus, they’re not anywhere near the picture when it comes to the big two, sadly.

I watch and usually enjoy Dynamite and Collision every week. Most of the time, I totally forget about Rampage. SmackDown is on Fridays, which I’m usually watching.

So then I forget about Rampage, or it’s just too much wrestling for me. A Friday night show and a Saturday night show? I kind of hate that, possibly cause I’m old and it’s just too much.

Not getting into numbers, because I don’t do that nerdy stuff. NOBODY knows what numbers the networks are looking for, so it’s totally pointless to ever discuss.

BUT, Rampage doesn’t do well when it comes to ratings. There’s also screenshots that go around showing the awful crowds from most of those taped shows.

You can see one of those above, I think it’s from Rampage, if not, whatever, you get the point. It’s been built as the C show, maybe the D show depending how you feel about Ring of Honor?

I truly believe AEW would be better off without Rampage. They could focus more on the other shows, and focus is something they lack.

But what do you think?
