Ultimate X Match Returning at TNA Wrestling’s “Emergence”
TNA Wrestling has been on a nice run, they just did incredibly well in terms of Slammiversary buys, according to Dave Meltzer. That was a sold-out show, one of many recent ones.
YouTube numbers have been great, the Dolph/Mustafa segment from last week has almost 450 thousand views already. The WWE relationship is flourishing, Joe Hendry is one of the most over, wrestlers in the world right now.
Their parent company, Anthem SE, brought in a Chief Revenue Officer. There’s a lot less LOLTNA in the Wrestling Communities, etc, etc, etc.
I do a podcast every week with my co-host, “The Horror King” and we’ve been enjoying things. One thing I always bring up though is, “What happened to gimmick matches?!?!?!?”
Well, my prayers have been answered! TNA just announced “ULTIMATE X RETURNS at #TNAEmergence!”
I’d like reverse battle royals and all kinds of TNA wackiness back. This is a solid start.
Emergence takes place August 30, 2024, at the Old Forester's Paristown Hall in Louisville, Kentucky. The show will air exclusively on TNA+.
